the game wont patch, keeps asking me to insert cd 4 but when i mount cd4 into daemon tools nothing hapens ive even tried burning the image to a disc but it still wont work , has anyone else encountered and/or fixed this problem?

Must be something matias 1984, menno82 and talon85 don't talk anything may they have downloaded this and installed it without an problem ...I hope that I will not have problems with this :-/ because is not little 9GB..

MaD_hAtTeR - try installing every addod to a different folder. i had the same problem. i did smth like this:
C:gamesthe sims - here the main game
C:gamesaddon name - separate folder for each addon.

anyway, great copy.

It works fine, but as i noticed it's good to install every addon in a kind of right order.(?)
in the end it should be the Bon Voyage, becouse the no-cd crack patches the last, playable one.

My game keeps on crashing at random times, ne help?

Bon Vonyage is missing 2 expansion and 2 stuff addons. You can get them separately in another torrent and they should work with this torrent. Also Apartment expansion is not out yet in the sharing community.

magicISO is not free, using MagicISO makes the installation complicated, so i said boo to MagicISO and converted the files into ISO and used daemon tools to mount the files, then followed the installation instruction. also the instruction doesnt mention the problems that magicISO will present you.

it appears that converting the UIF files into ISO actually saves space. the files become smaller about %10 average. i dont know why people use UIF it makes things really complicated, just use deamontools formats and use daemontools for digital drive

For Noobs, there is no order to install these. But heres what i did - i installed the real game The Sims 2 first then bon voyage and applied the bon voyage *patch*, the game works, you dont have to install the other expansions, you can install the other expansion later on, just remember to have the proper ,s,e,r,i,a,l,s ready for each expansion.

first convert all the disks to ISO using the given magicISO... then enable all the 4 drives in daemon tools and mount all the 4 cds.. then install

to VAMPIREX

too many problems with this not working. maybe i'm not doing things right, i dunno.. the instructions don't help. i tried using magicISO and i open it using magiciso then extract the files i guess. it worked for bon voyage but when i try to run the others it has different errors for each one. one couldn't load the languages.. some have missing packages.. or just some blank error. i'm giving up on this.

1. I convert UIF to ISO and this mount it on PowerISO 4.2.
2. When installing it give me error (below)

3. I select yes but no luck. what should i do????????????

1. Downalod and open the above file
2. From Tools menu chose Convert...
3. Select you UIF file and you are good to go.

Don't use PowerISO, use Magic ISO and don't convert the .uif

note: Open For Business does /not/ have a crack, which means--as Sims 2 will always run off your most recent expansion pack--you cannot download it as your most recent expansion pack. You either have to not download it at all, or you have to download expansion packs that come after it as well (Pets, for example, does have a crack, and downloading the entire torrent should be fine).

I can't speak for any other expansion packs, however, as I've only downloaded Pets and OFB from this torrent. Maybe someone else could check?

the only thing that drives me more insane then a slow download is, assassin's creed and mininova refusing to keep an open port with my computer for downloading purposes or that at all. the least they could of done is hook these torrents to piratebay website, as that tracker site is the only one that is into most torrents downloads these days.

Well, they are still downloading right now, but my question is, Do I need all the other expansions and install them in order for Open for Business to work? ok well your gonna need to get magiciso and you will go into it and click on tools at the top and there is a "converter..." just click on that and then you just look for the game you want to convert and tell it where you want it and then you ount and install it hope i could help! :)

The file was from the "Support" folder, and I've had a look around in it and all it is is just a list of languages - so does anyone at the very least know what should go in that folder, or even better, know how to fix my specific problem?

I downloaded this and it works! But this is not complete.. Missing couple packs...

The download took two days, had to change router settings to make uTorrent go faster. The crack worked, just as long as you use Bon Voyage to enter into the other expansion sets. No viruses so far. Pretty good game. Works with Windows 7 just fine.

I downloaded this yesturday and thought I was doing good. I installed all of them using MagicISO...I think, anyways. I didn't convert them or anything just ran them as a .uif. After installing all of them it turns out that something went wrong. None of them work. All of them say please insert disk and when I mount that disk it says there is nothing there. :(! Finished dloading in 2days at approx. </>150kbps, currently seeding.

Actually, this torrent DOES work. But the problem is, there are NO CD CRACKS except for the bon voyage expansion.

So, what i did was to install the original Sims 2, and the bon voyage. After cracking the bon voyage, you play the game using the bon voyage shortcut. After which,you can play the other expansions but you have to play them THROUGH the bon voyage shortcut.

There are some fixed cracks on the net, though, but i tried some but it didn't really work. :/

Clean torrent. Game works great but i cant seem to open the cheat box. I pressed CTRL + SHIFT + C but nothing pops up. No where to type.

Remember install The Sims 2 first. Then Bon Voyage, then the others in any order.
If you are having trouble installing do this:
1. Install MagicoISO
2. Open MagicISO, go to tools then click convert
3. Convert the 4 Discs of The Sims 2
4. Right click on the first disc.
5. Go down to MagicISO option then mount then u should get another option that requires you to install MagicDisc. Go to the site and install it. Then right click on the disc and mount
6. The Sims 2 installation should pop up then you enter the key which is located in the "[Readme] Instructions" folder
7. When it says put in disc number 2, go to the second disc and simply right click then magiciso then mount. wait like 20 seconds then click ok to the installation. Do the same for when it instructs you to put in certain discs.

There is no crack for the individual games. There is only a crack for Bon Voyage. If you just want to play The Sims 2 here is a clean crack that works perfect:

Easy steps for dummies:
1. Download the torrent

2. Install MagicIso (The Sims 2 Complete > [Readme] Instructions > MagicISO v5.4 > MagicISO Setup)

3. Open crack (The Sims 2 Complete > [Readme] Instructions > MagicISO v5.4 crack > Magic.ISO.Maker.v5.4.b251_patch) and type in a name in the register to: XXXXX and click crack and find your MagicISO directory.

4. Go here (http://www.magiciso.com/tutorials/miso-magicdisc-overview.htm) and download + install MagicISO Virtual CD/DVD-ROM (P.S. its an extension of magicISO)

5. Open your MagicISO (NOT magicDISC), then go Tools > Virtual CD-ROM/DVD-ROM > G:No Media > Mount > <The Sims 2 CompleteThe Sims 2The Sims 2 Disc 1.uif> and wait while it verifies.

6. If nothing pops up, then go My Computer and double click The Sims 2 CD ROM and click autorun. (P.S. you have to wait for the icon to appear before clicking autorun)

7. After that, the installation would start and all serial keys are in (The Sims 2 Complete > [Readme] Instructions > Keys)

8.After a while, they will ask you to change disc, go to your magicISO, then go Tools > Virtual CD-ROM/DVD-ROM > G:The Sims 2... > Dismount, then follow step 5 and mount Disc 2

9. Now you'll know how to install.

It works!! Takes a long time though, and you'll have to download and install this also because magicISO not enough.
