If your converting to VOB for DVD use you need the srt file in same location as the avi with exact same name with different extensions .avi and .srt then convert u get subtitles

ex. THEMOVIE.avi
THEMOVIE.srt

"acknsnack" Thanks a million. one question though, i just burn the movie file i download from here on a CD as it is (Data CD). i do not convert it to any other extension and my DVD player recognizes it as divx file and plays it. i dont even know what VOB means! the extension i download from here is avi. so do i just burn both the avi movie file and the .srt file on the CD with the same name (as a Data Disc)?

.VOB files are for dvd's. When u put in a real dvd and u open it. you see the .vob files in there.

Btw anyone has dutch subs for this one ?

Anyone know how to convert htese movies so I can put them on my iphone? I have to fly out to London from Vegas and I need to occupy my time somehow on the plane.

Any help would be great!!

@Six0Seven, you need to convert it to an MP4 file, download a Free MP4 converter from http://www.abcmedia.tv/3gp-converter.htm Make sure when you do it, you set the qulity to mediam, else you'll end up with a file 1GB + in size.

In Itunes, be sure to click the vido tab/movies and scroll down and tick the box that says "Transfer my videos to my device"

@rafa831 um sry i dont use a divx dvd player but i believe as long as the subs are burned onto the CD the divx player should read the srt file too
