real alrite and good quality... v 10/ a 8.. the audio is in sync but at some places a little noise .. other than that realy good and absolutely watchable...

R5 refers to DVD Region 5, which includes the former Soviet Union, the Indian subcontinent, and much of Africa.In an effort to compete with movie piracy in these areas, the movie industry chose to create a new format for DVD releases that could be produced more quickly and less expensively than traditional DVD releases. R5 releases differ from normal releases in that they lack both the image post-processing and special features that are common on DVD releases
Since the movie is not in english(most of the times) an english audio(from some other release probably) is dubbed onto it.
Thus it ends up looking as good(or almost as good) as a dvd, with the only downside being the sound.
But way better than a cam or a TS.
You can say its an alternate if you cant wait for the dvd to be released in your country,
