I have done as it is said in instructions but when i tried to close and save changes that i made to host file in notepad, it says that file can't be created. And I must check path or filename...
What should i do? I have followed instructions correctly so far...

@WeaselOfTorrents: First copy and paste the host file onto your desktop then open it with notepad and add follow the instructions that came with CS4. Click save. Now copy and paste the host file back into its original location. Click to copy and replace when it asks.

I install and it finishes with ERRORS I restart take down firewall, antivirus, etc. Still installs with ERRORS and will not open, any suggestions?

Need help please. I downloaded the torrent with Vuze, and now I just had a file called Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended [CLEAN] [blaze69], and it says its a 7Z file type....what program do I use to open the files?? Thanks for the help ahead of time

im using vista, but it wont let me save the hosts file, it says path is incorrect.. help pls?

I have installed the software, but it does not respond when I try to do some changes with the photos.
I have tried to sharpen, converting tobw, and add saturation - No respons. And it's not possible to exit the program (the exit is not highlighted)

And one more thing, it's not possible to open a photo unless I clear all recent photos in the file-menu.

What is happening? Anyone has the same problem???

I'm desperate for help on this and was wondering if someone could help me?

I've never ever downloaded torrents before and didn't even know what they were 24 hours ago. But needed a key for photoshop so downloaded a key generator. Actually I downloaded two and couldn't believe it when one worked. The other one though - I'm not sure if it worked because I didn't try it - keeps opening when I log into the computer. I get electronic music and some cartoon character giving me the finger. The icon is a Yin and Yang symbol and it's called itself 'photoshop CS4.exe'. I've been trying to remove this for about eight hours now - this isn't my computer and I'm in deep s it if I can't get rid of it. I'd really, really appreciate it if someone could help and tell me how to get it off the computer. I'm not cut out for this p2p filesharing thing, obviously!

This obviously has nothing do with P2P. You need to be more careful while you download stuff off the internet. go to Start->Run and type "msconfig" (without the quotes). Go to the Startup Tab, and disable ( uncheck ) any PhotoShop CS4.exe you find there. If that doesnt solve your problem, you can use system restore.

Regardless, remember to always scan executables you download, before running them. Torrents are great, just remember to read the comments and find out if its trusted or not.

use the serial number provided by blaze69. its inside the "Read Me First" file. Its called "Read Me First" for a reason.

and if u still dont know where is that "Read Me First" file is, its one of the text files inside the Adobe Photoshop CS4 Extended [CLEAN] [blaze69].7z folder, which you torrented.

EDIT: Whoever gave my comment a negative vote is a jackass, when I downloaded and installed this program it worked perfectly. My comment reflected the fact that this was a quality torrent at the time.

Everything downloaded fine and i extracted the files and updated the etc text file...BUT the setup.exe file encounters a problem every time i try to run it...is it worth it to redownload it and reextract it..and THEN hopefully install it..?? :/

hey. downloaded a very similar torrent (full adobe suite) that contained a keygen, on vista, but every time i open the setup.exe file it just jumps on the screen for a second and then nothing happens.
i read about extracting 'iso' files here, but i just have a .msi file and a .cab file.
i tried extracting from .msi, and then afterwards when i tried to open setup the screen went blank for a couple of seconds as if something was happening, but then again, nothing.
i'm a Mac man myself, so forgive my ignorance of all things PC!
can anyone help please? my job might depend on it!

I did the same thing! I'm not doing anything wrong but it won't work. Every time I try to open the program with notepad it says 'file is too large'... and every time I try to open it with another program, it freezes and I have to close the program with task manager! Not to mention when I downloaded it, it came as a zip file so I had to decompress it... Didn't do anything. I have vista and I'm confused and frustrated. Can anyone help please? PRETTTYYY please????
