Excellent torrent. Took me about 6 days to download but hey at least I didn't pay!

well.. the seasons crack wont work here.. when i open it it just crashes. (the crack)

I can't seem to download this at all. I use Transmission and it won't recognize the file. I have it set to search for .torrent, but that doesn't work. Nor does it work to use "File - Open Torrent File."
Any suggestions of awesomeness?

Note that if you're using Leopard the Seasons crack will crash (the rest will too, except the one for the original game, where you simply replace the file with the one in the game directory, but it won't load any of the expansions that way) . If it's still unclear, read on.

1) Follow install.rtf. It's important that you install in the correct order. Don't forget the Pets update after you install Pets.

2) Download updated crack from here. http://www.mechodownload.com/forum/macintosh-games/48438-sims-2-seasons-ep-mac.html If the file is no longer available, Google "TS2-SE4S0NS-LE0P4RDCR4CKED4PP.zip" and see if you can find a mirror.

3) Replace "The Sims 2.app" in your install directory with the one from the zip file.

4) Play.


I just pla **** a few hours with no problems whatsoever on OS X 10.5.5.

Please can someone post STEP-BY-STEP install instructions for this as it seems to be confusing a lot of people (myself included)? Please don't just say "install The Sims" but actually say how to install each bit. I think it would be greatly appreciated by many users... thanks :)

how i instal the sims 2.. i can't instal when a click on icon my computer say put the original cd..

I need help pls, after installing the first sims 2
(drag the sims 2 folder to hard drive as required),
open the university.dmg, clicked installer,
it says this installation of sims 2 is not valid.(located at ~/do **** ent/download/azureus download)
tells me to re-install sims2
I have tried to re-install it in different folder but didnt work
help please

I have instalation problem as well, when i install the sims 2.dmg and i click on it it says that i should insert the original disc. if can one help me with it? maybe i am doing smth wrong?

hey crotch muffin, i have friends that use transmission and I don't think it works very well. I'd go with Azureus (vuze), it downloaded in 6 hours and worked fine with my macbook. If something isn't working I'd just look for a new torrent. I didn't do anything fancy to get it to work, it's not neccessary to delete or move apps like what was said, I'm running Leopard and all I did was instead of opening seasons with the crack I opened the entire Sims folder with the crack when it prompts. It was pretty simple!

okay so there is no download button anywhere, and i have transmission and it works fine but how the **** do i download this torrent and then move it to transmissionn... HELP.

You need to provide step by step instructions with how to crack the files. I dont know what to do and it seems alot of other ppl dont either? Can somebody please write out some instructions on how to do this? Most other cracks come with instructions. I am not a crack expert, i have no idea what im doing.

I have a feeling nobody is going to help me lol :S

1. After you finish downloading the torrent, read the install.rtf file and install them in that order, BUT ignore the "run the seasons cracks" for now.
2. Download a program called Pseudo, described here: http://www.versiontracker.com/dyn/moreinfo/macosx/9608 -- I downloaded it free from somewhere...don't remember where sorry. But do some searching and you should be able to find it.
3. Open the Patch No DVD The Sims 2 Seasons.dmg file in the folder "The Sims 2 Seasons - Mac." A window should pop up with a snapshot of the sims seasons on the left, and 3 files on the right.
4. Open Pseudo
5. Drag the "The Sims 2 Seasons UBCrack.app" file into Pseudo
6. You will be prompted to enter your mac password
7. Follow the instructions to open the Sims 2.app in the box provided

That's how it worked for me after hours of trying to figure it out. Good Luck!

I have a question also... I just downloaded Bon Voyage but it didn't come with a crack... all the cracks I can find for it are only for Windows. So I can't get it to work. I tried deleting Bon Voyage so I could just play with up to Seasons, but now it won't work and says I need to insert the CD. Bon Voyage won't delete! Does anyone know where I can find a crack for it? Or at least how I can go back to being able to use my sims without bon voyage again??

i'm running MAC OS X Leopard (10.5.6). I downloaded the crack for leopard and it runs, it gets passed the "change permissions", i put in my password etc. It works a little, then comes up with this error:

/Applications/The Sims 2.localized/The Sims 2.app/Contents/MacOS/The Sims 2

Not an expert mac user, so i have no idea what this means. Please help.

I just downloaded this whole torrent. However, I'm having a few problems:

1) The Sims 2 crack is a .sit file I don't know what this is. It comes up in my textedit as a bunch of letters, numbers, and symbols.
2) If this is how it's supposed to be... what am I supposed to do with it? How do I install it? What exactly do I replace it with. When I click "The Sims 2" it just says please insert the original CD.

I am not good with all this torrent stuff but usually with enough playing around I can figure it out! I finally got the sims 2 to work but opening the ".sit" folder with a program called "stuff it expander".

I downloaded this and it runs great.I tried to add custom movies and it closes out shortly after turning on the channel that i put a video.Anyone else having this problem.Also i am using 128*128 with 15 frame limit.any input would be great.

also for sokhykak, to use psuedo drag any crack for the seasons into the folder.What i mean is when you open up the crack there will be a seasons logo drag that into psuedo folder

for some reason when i finish the installing and crack business of seasons, it says i haven't downloaded University or Nightlife and also when i go to Crack the Base game (Sims 2) it wont let me
