I have installed this program on my computer and applied the included patch (all current updated from MS have been applied successfully). I can assure you that it is not fake and is the first out of 6 xp home programs I have tried that really works.

You should open it and extract the key and activation crack...if you can, put the activation crack on diskette or SD card so you can run it after install. This has to be a clean install too.

I rate this program very highly! This is not an illegal download if you have a legal, user key for your computer. I lost my OS and Averatec doesn't supply a copy of Windows with their computers. This is one of the best reasons FOR p2p software.

My problem is that it is telling me "An error occurred copying file and577q3.sys to C:\$WIN_NT$.~BT\and577q3.sys. The file is missing. Contact your system adminsitrator."

It wont let me install it because this file is missing, any idea where i can get it?

Hey i got this laptop off ebay and the dude said it would come reformated and with the windows cd well i get it and he dident reformat it and he dident send the key. If i download this and burn it onto a CD can i use the CD key from windows sticker on the bottom of the laptop??

yea so i downloaded this and burned it onto a CD and i installed it and everything worked fine with it but my internet dident work. so i had to goto linux untill i can get 80$ to buy a real windows

Umm,, I am trying to install this version of XP on Virtual PC, which means that as far as I know there is no way for me to run that crack file (which is supposedly a trojan anyways.) theres xp keys all over the net, but none will pass WGA.. youll need a crack for that.

you need to install your sound driver. download: driverMagic; it will show you which ones you need.

download: "virtual drive clone" so you can mount it n know its real, youre just burning it wrong.

1)double click IE/FF/Op.. etc
2)type this in the address bar: www.google.com
3)click: set as homepage
4)type this in the search bar: xp home key

I seem to be doing something wrong. I downloaded, bunt on cd with alcohol120%, booted from this cd and ran the setup. Then it reboots automatically, but if I try to interrupt that by going into safe mode, it gives an error because setup was not completed.
If, on the other hand, I do reboot normally, it starts installing windows, and then asks for the registration key. The readme file says that the serial is provided on the disk. But I can't find any kind of registration number, and the ones from internet don't work either.

So should I use this crack thing and if so, how? Or is there a reg key?

My advice for you all is this is the most 3rd class windows I've ever seen and you have to believe me. Please don't waste your time seeding this windows. Try Windows XP Professional SP2 but don't use Home edition. Please don't seed this windows. And this windows is also not genuine but still I can download updates from Microsoft using a crack. For those of you having trouble with the sound ("no audio device detected") this is not a defect in the OS, you need only download the drivers for your sound card, both built in and add-on. for those of you with a built in audio card, you have to find the drivers for your mobo, go to the website of your computers brand name (ex compaq, dell, vaio, etc), they should have the drivers that work specifically with the mobo of your computer, make sure that its xp compatible.

robertn972 has perhaps forgotten that he is using a pirated windows. Internet Explorer, Firewall attached with Windows etc, are never usable, and trustworthy for a pirated windows version. My suggestion to robertn972 is kindly use mozilla firefox or Google Chrome(NB : Google Chrome may crash in some computers) for internet surfing. I have used this Windows 10 times and it worked just great each time, To me it appears to be the best pirated Windows Version.

To Gaby95, no one will be arrested installing this windows. Microsoft Corp. have got a lot of development and maintainance work to do save finding pirated windows users. From July, 2009 the probability of getting arrested is zero. Because Microsoft is terminating every support for windows Xp.

The main problem is this windows is Home edition. Many of the feature isn't included in this edition. And also it is 30 days and needs to use patch.

i m pretty curious what kind of features are not included in Home Edition, i got it dloaded n worked in VMWare, although i did not use the WPA KILL.EXE

People,people,people, I need urgent help!
I installed this and everything BUT I messed something up with the user accounts and ended up not knowing the default admin password and disabling the other accounts,so please can someone just tell me the DEFAULT ADMIN PASS...it should be located in the text file that is created on your desktop when you fist start XP. Assistance is highly appreciated

I am trying to install this on my thinkpad t61 and it's asking me to enter my product code. I have a legit product code, but it says it is invalid. What's going on?

the WPA KILL.EXE patch, wont work anymore, its good only for service pack 2 and once you updated to service pack 3 and applied the patch it wont do any good.. ERROR report crypted,, does anyone have an idea for what it is.. or kindly tell the correct one.. THaNNKS people..
