it could be real! dx10 is made for vista, but some people are trying to get it to work in xp. three days ago I found about 10 hits on google, check for yourself now. dx10 xp. 2.970.000 hits. works for me!

ppl, stop sayin its fake, coz its not, i have this, it works fine, i play crysis, far cry 2, left 4 dead and all those great dx10 games on xp, using direct x 10.

To harriisnotinabox: if you are so good...try this: go to - start - run - write dxdiag - hit enter or press OK, and now tell me which version of DX you have installed ;) That's the way you know for sure.

It's really fake. I contacted with 3 Microsoft Windows XP technicians. They told that it is impossible that DirectX 10 will release for XP. 'Cuz the language of DirectX 10 is totally different and will never be compatible with XP. Also when Microsoft will release DirectX 113D it will also not work in XP.

contacting MS wont bring anything , there never will be official DX10 of xp YET i use DX10 on XP for over 6 months now

witch that said i don't know about this file, but hacked versions are downloadable for quite some time now and they do work
