I had the same problem with Black & White 2. Missing/corrupt files but that's what the patch is for. It replaces the corrupt files. I havn't downloaded it yet but I'm pretty sure it's as fallowing:

1. Mount/burn the images
2. Run the setup via autorun.exe
3. When the error message appears press "Ignore"
4. When the install finishes run the caesariv_update_en_10_11.exe file
5. Apply the crack and play

The trojan/spyware might also be the crack being recognized as malware so do an update. I use AVG Free and it has happened but it ignored it after an update for the antivirus.

Kaspesky sucks.......Most Keygen programs are considered Spyware......this works fine

Re-download the update or just use the original. If I remember correctly the cracked .exe works just fine with any version. But I would recommend it as version 1.0 is buggy in some instances.
