Can anyone tell me why movies cant simply be made and added as AVI or some other simple format? The over all compression is not really worth the effort.

If course it can you just need to load it in a Program mounts virtual CD and DVD like Deamon form there you need to open a progam that will accept those formats like TMPEnc, Nero or any other DVD authoring tool. Then you can convert it to an avi. LOL

Basically just mount the image and convert it to whatever format you want. If you need DVD format then I suggest Nero, it cuts down some of the intermediate steps.

to the idiot that commented on the smoking thing... tabacco is not a drug, to be a drug, something has to either alter your mental or physical state, to be a controlled substance (what you are comparing it to) it has to be abused... and i dont see many cigarette abusers. yes its addicting, but so is coffee... and msot people dont consider starbucks a drug... no matter hos much it seems like it :]

now back to the subject. very poor quality... sound is a 2/10, vid suality is maybe a 3/10... sounds cuts in and out too.

and to the other guy asking why people dont make some things avi.. that is for the most part, because most programs that run bin/cue files (vlc player), run much faster and smoothly.

The nicotine in tobaco is a psycoactive drug....as is caffiene in soda. In fact the deaths in AMERICA due to nicotene overdose is 3 as of last year. The tar in a cigg kills you not the nicotene. If you want to fix the drug problem don't call it an addiction. Alchoholism isn't a dissease it's a CHOICE. There are no addictive adjents in alchohole.

I know this is probably the most ridiculous place to have an argument over this subject, but check out http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Drug where you can see that tobacco and caffeine are, in fact, drugs.

Ben4920, plants can be drugs, and if all it takes to not be a drug is to be a plant, then Cannabis isn't a drug, as it is just the weed's "ovaries" that are smoked.

Also, some of you people need to learn how to use a sentence, punctuation and the shift key.

That is the most ridiculous thing i have ever heard or seen. I myself have CF and I can tell you now that your friend will only shorten his life by smoking weed. Even if he eats it, Im sure it is NOT the thing keeping him alive. That is far more likely to be a result of the numerous antibiotics, nebulisers and inhalers. But by the sounds of it, he doesnt have an ounce of brain in his head so i can imagine he doesnt bother taking those either. Funy. From the question of copy quality to the philosofy of society and old story of civilisation and violence and war. Maybe it's because of apocaliptic movie 28 days later. I am from tortured country. And USA and friends did lot of wrong things to my country. But I just have to say: there is so many great things in that country, science, sports, art, economy... and pieces of wrong policy. American people will fix it... I hope. I think it's funny that dogsofwar thinks AMERIKKA is some monolithic group. As far as natives in the US go, it is my understanding that they had no concept of ownership of land, and thus didn't believe they owned "their" land that they somehow own just because they got there first. Since they didn't own it, we took it I guess.

Also, since you are french, you should be pretty angry with your own country. If it wasn't for France, we wouldn't have won the Revolutionary war.
