i was having problems with the game freezing after the royal rumble.. this is wat i did and it worked..
i changed the move set of the custom made superstar to preset no 3
pla **** the game with almost no grappling , striking moves or running moves..
all i did was irish whipped opponents out of the ring as soon as they came in..
i also paused the game a couple of times in between..
see if all these things help..
