can you guys plz help me out. every game that i torrent i get only about 100kb/sec which is very slow =[ i use utorrent 1.7.5 and i use cable as my internet connection. all my ports are open (atleast i think they are) and when theres like 14,000 peers i can only connect to about 500-600 can anyone plz help me out. oh and my router thing is linksys (when i type 192.168.1.1 in URL)

gal7zx, Crysis is superior if your PC can hack it. If this does have online, it wont be for long (Games designers will usually patch the online part so it blocks crack patches, or, like SupCom make it a separate exe that needs a registy key)

Slashdurst, your card is below minimum specs, and this game on its stated min specs absolutely chugs along. lol it looks more like a slideshow than a game, do what i did and get yourself a 7600GT, they go for about $100 now and will handle this game on medium if your processor and ram can cope

this game is great, but u cant play it at full gfx with good framerate with the actual hardware.

Whatever you have today, without having two 8800s in SLi, you cant play more than medium settings without it getting jittery. In IGNs Tech review, they had a single 8800 Ultra and couldn't run it in DX10 mode without the framerate being at about 10fps at the best of times.

And as for the quick release time, if Razor1911 were half as eager as i was to get their hands on this game i don't blame them

i have a 8800gtx and i can play high details 1680x1050 with no problem and it's really amazing, but very high don't bother, but i'm pretty sure that without a card that has cost a lot, you can't play that game even in medium details because all great graphic cards even 2 or 3 years later remain expensive... so if you download this file, just take a moment to think why you didn't steal a gtx in a store....because for me, if there wasn't this game i don't need the gtx !

And it is what it took me to finnish the game aswell.

Is it just me or is the "put a device under the skin on the enemy and then put them all to sleep at the same time" not in the game? In all trailers etc. you can do it.

But all I had (in the beginning) was one shot every 15 sec with a sleeping thing. :(

I loved the demo, and I loved the game until 50-70% in the game, then it was to much.
All this "independence day" crap is to old. We have (as I said): independence day, starship troopers, aliens, aliens vs. preditor etc. But it was a nice game anyway =)

i recommend a dual core processor and a 8600 or 8800 graphic card and 2 gb ram for nice playing winrar you can dowload here on torrentz.

I guess this sucks if you have comcast it will dl at 5kb/s as comcast blocks torrents.

Great game and works great took me a day to finish.
I use AM2 X2 6000+ @ 3.21 2gb ddr800 8600gts (only till my 8800 gets here) and worked fine, for those complaining about low speeds it tooks me 4-5 days to download and would recommend checking things like firewalls that might block it, tell your computer (XP anyways) to open more ports up as the default max is 10 to try and stop virusesm, pick a torrent that has more uploaaders than downloaders or at least a low ammount of downloaders as what everyone is uploaded has to be split between the downloaders which will cause the lower speed.

ok so i downloaded everything extracted it with winrar and now wat do i do i dont get it lol. i cant find any iso butt here are 3 applications: Setup.exe, AutoRunCD.exe and instmsi30.exe Also theres Crysis.msi. What do i do??

Didn't work for me. Downloads fine. Installs fine. Runs fine before patching (asks for original CD/DVD as expected).

After copying the patch crashes in Crysis.exe before doing anything. Patch appears to work for some people (32 bit, perhaps?), but not for me (64 bit vista). I guess that's where the "fake" ratings come from.

I don't know how you guys are exactly "unziping" this file when it was clearly split using the HJSPLIT appliction and even then it still doesnt work; If it were a WinRAR file it would look like the following...(rzr-crys.part01) vs. (rzr-crys.001). WinRAR files are very destinctive because they add the "part*" to the file's ext. I tried changing the file ext so that is opens with WinRAR but its still not recognized. I pretty familiar with these files but this one got me stumped. :(

I downloaded WINRAR off of torrentz, so I have the full version [this is not needed]
I opened rzr-crysis.001 in winrar, and clicked "EXTRACT".
It extracted the file, and went onto the next file .002 then .003.
It combined the files into one ISO
I used my bought version of POWERISO [or any virtual drive program will work, such as daemon tools]
Mounted the .iso file onto a virtual drive.
It autopla **** , [or you can "explore" the file in My Computer, and find Auto-Run.exe]
Installed, then when it asked for the CDKEY
I went to the RAZOR1991 folder INSIDE of the ISO and found rzr-crysis.exe
Ran it where it was.
I clicked "GENERATE" and it automatically put the key into the installer.
Finished installing.

IF YOU DON'T UNDERSTAND THIS MUCH, YOU DON'T BELONG DOWNLOADING THESE.

Validated, and checked with Kaspersky v 7.0

However, to play the game I can't. It needs to be on a drive, which it's on my K: drive, [virtual]. But when I go to play it says please insert DVD. Wtf? I tried autoplay from inside of the ISO, and it still didn't work. Any ideas on how to mount the ISO onto a physical drive? Or if it's even possible... Also, the file is too big to burn to an average DVD. 6.03gb is a big file, know where I can buy DVD's that size?

game works fine but has a virus hidden inside (trojan horse backdoor.generic9.syd) inside avg picked it up, as i said game works but be aware most software comes with a nasty surprise.

This game is real. But the keygen in de razor1911 directory contains a TROJAN horse. Atleast my AVG 7.5 says so. So, if you want a key, search for crysis on torrentz.com and look in the comments of the first hit.
The seed was good. If your dl speed is slow, it must be your settings. I got a 350 kb/s average.

It displeases my to say that this game comes lumped with a Trojan Backdoor. The game works fine, but when you install it it comes with the trojan. You could just install and then deal with the Trojan afterwards. The threat is a "BackDoor.Generic9.SYD"

The threat could be a backdoor to allow the CDKeygen to automatically infiltrate the installation program to paste the CDKey, but either way the Trojan is part of the CDKey generator.

I ran a scan after letting the Trojan run its course because I wanted to see if it was truly malicious and I didn't find any traces of it both automatically using AVG and manually checking my registry editor.

HOW TO EXTRACT:

It's a pain in the ass. You have to go to folder options and select the option to view file extensions. Now you have to rename all 60+ files by replacing the first 0 with an r. This will let WinRAR or any other archive reading program extract this.

It's real but it has some problems. When I start the game up the opening commercials of nvidea etc don't show up correctly and I see a lot of big pixels and some remixed sound or something:S. NOT COOL. but after I reach the menu and play the game everything goes normal. I think somehow the crack is a lil bit messed up.

you just open the first file (rzr-crys.001) with winrar and you will see the ISO in it. and then you just extract it.

For good download speeds there are several things you can do:
- find out what your max dl and ul speeds are, use google to find a site where you can check them. Put those speeds in your bittorrent client. But them down a little bit higher than the site tells you.

Im having trouble extracting it, the speed of extraction just dips alot till ETA is 9hrs or something, so i walk away and then poof its done, the iso is the correct size but the extractor says the file is broken... help?

I'm currently SEEDING! Anyways guys, please help me out. Few people have this problem too, so I'll restate it:

Extracted, mounted through Daemon Lite, ran installer with no problems. Copied over Crysis.exe and rzr-crys.exe to the Crysis folder in Programs. Then I try to run it from Auto-play, get to main menu and click Play but it just crashed on me. "Crysis has stopped working" message, with option to check online for solution etc.

Using Vista 64 bit, Core 2 Duo 3.16, 4 GB RAM, GTX+ 9800

Please help me out! I'll keep seeding for everyone!

someone better explain to me why the rzr-crys.exe file in the 1911 directory has alerted avg that is a backdoor torjan and why windows says its not a valid file. if i don't get a straight answer i will report this as fake and expose it. regardless of what you call it. so im asking wats the problem with this file? i didnt go to all this trouble to be stopped by a file that will not cooperate. unless it was intentional...

use rar to extract
right click at first file(i think *.00) and open with winrar.. but u must select always open with this program.. then close winrar and right click at first file again then say extract here.. it will automatically extract the other 'unidentified' files..

However the NOCD file Crysis.exe in the Razor folder turned up clean by my antivirus. Use the key mentioned in an earlier post (scroll up) and the NOCD file to play the game without problems.

If you have trouble with the rar files follow instructions mentioned in previous posts.

I had trouble mounting the image: kept getting corruption errors, but I just installed from my hard drive and used the crack to play so no need to mount.

I was really dissapointed, and later I decided to try WinRAR instead of PeaZip to join the files...
When I did this, I found a RAR file, not a file without extension...
After extracting, I found an ISO file... After I mounted it with Deamon Tools, it installed like a charm ! Oh, 1 thing... I don't think the keygen is a virus (because it's from razor) but avast detected Win32.Trojan/virus.gen wich means that avast doesn't like keygens ;]

cant start the game. i successfully unpacked, installed via daemon tools and generated a key, copied the crysis.exe to bin32 folder and tried all different exe files to start... i even copied it to bin64 folder. it doesnt start, nothing happens when i click on the exe. when i start the crysis64.exe it goes fullscreen but blackscreen and nothing happens.

my comp specs are very high, and i i have windows 7 64 bit

Ok so i downloaded this game and installed it on my dad's PC (using Daemon). The game works fine but now he seems to be unable to run his Chessbase program..Since then, i uninstalled both programs but he still cannot play with his Chessbase. Anyone know if either Crysis or Daemon could of made some conflict and if so, how can i fix it?

Edit: My dad just finished running ad-aware and it detected a "Backdoor.Graybird" something (forgot the end of the name if there was any). I think i recall reading somewhere that this was the rzr.keygen file that was a trojan. So if that is so, my suggestion would be to look arround the comments or google for a working CD-key and to simply delete that keygen that come with the game to avoid possible problem.
