Regardless of its fakeness (or not), you won't be able to play the game, as it's not yet been cracked, and online activation is needed, which makes this download rather useless unless theres a crack. Also, what if a nulled version is required? It would render this .iso useless.

Well, you can install it, but the game won't run, asking for activation...and all the "cracks" for now are fakes and viruses =/

The fact you can't find a crack+serials on the internet doesnt mean that the download is fake it means u are to dumb to visit www.google.com and look for a crack and serial.

The point is: the download itself is real it are the real disks with the real game on it. There is just no crack to make u pass the rockstar security, but thats not the fault of this download.

People are stuck at 99.8% as it stops people from Hitting and Running on the torrent, it's actually a good way of getting people to share back some of what they have downloaded, a leecher at 99% is almost as good as a seeder with 100%, just think nobody is gonna cancel the download at 99% are they?

Nobody has 100% because no seeds are available. The other torrent is good, but who wants to start again :S and that torrent is very slow..
but, people, as there isn't any crack yet, we shouldn't regret..

Afect this torrent do not have seeds I changed the torrent file on 48% in my utorrent program for the another torrent. I needed to rename the two iso file for GTA IV DVD 1.iso and for GTA IV DVD 2.iso, then the utorrent rechecked the whole thing, and continued the downloading from 32%. So 16% of download are disappeared, but now I have 2(177) seeds, and hopfully the dowloading won`t stop on 99.8%.

I understand what you mean. You say that they make us to peer the torrent as we don't close the unfinished one. In this whey they will make the whole torrent available and everybody will seed it. But who will be the first having the 100% torrent?

I've made that exactly the same way as Alaktomos & for me it worked too...
I Had 99,9 % and i've took the other torrent and after re-check i was at 40% but top speed...
So I'm finished in 5 hours...

I also did this but no idea why it believes I have only 40% downloaded. The problem is that it's incredibly slow for me..

There's also another torrent; also 13.8GB with the same iso files. I'm trying to download that file too, maybe we should all abandon this torrent and go seed that other one. By the way i have this torrent completed at 90.7% and the other one at 1.2%.

What happens when you extract the ISO files when they are at 99.8% ? Does this work? Could Someone try?

I started to download it but it was very slow so i got rid of it.

I'm working on a possible solution for those stuck at 99.8% (like me)...

search for gta iv on torrentz.com then click on the second result, download the torrent, then go to where your 99.8% torrent is saved and rename the files to match the filenames of the new torrent and also rename the directory to match the default folder name of the new torrent. Then launch your new torrent and if you have done this correctly it will begin checking the files. PROBLEM SOLVED. Worked for me ! im now at 100% woooooohooooooo

I've tried it too, but like others i miss some files. When i do the renaming thing, i loose like half the files, i get from 99,8% to 41,7%; but this torrent will have some seeds, so my computer won't be turned off tonight, i'll play GTA 4 tomorrow.

Ps the availibility thing: under 1.000 means that you won't finish you're file (in this case availibility 0.998 in a 99,8% file......), any number higher then 1 means you're chance of completing you're download is higher. Some ppl say that at a availibility 2.000 the 'life' point is reached: the torrent is healthy because the loss of files by the leaving of a seeders (seeder leaves -> less chance of finishing....) will be filled up by other ppl. So if u have a torrent with avail. above 2: don't worry; above 10: kill u'reself if u still worry that you won't be able to complete the file.

Ok, everyone abandon this torrent. Take u're file's, rename then, and continue downloading in the other torrent (http://www.torrentz.com/aabbd66a352e7e5a3e27c63f433b3f105d951b44) you will lose +- half u're completion, but it's better then starting from 0%
At that torrent (http://www.torrentz.com/aabbd66a352e7e5a3e27c63f433b3f105d951b44) you will see also a post of mine (almost at the bottom) where i make a request. Now: go help the other file, because i think it's more effective to download that one then it is to hope for the missing 0.2% of this one......

The avail. is for every torrent different, i didn't say mine was over 10 or something: on this torrent mine was 0.998. I shifted to the other torrent and i downloaded (and uploaded) through the night. Now i have GTA 4 on my computer. Since yesterday the seedcount doubled on the other torrent, so i think it helped that i uploaded, before i started downloading (and uploading) the other torent i read posts that it was an extremely slow torrent, but now that isnt true anymore ;)
So do yourself a favor and don't turn off youre computer tonight, and you will have GTA 4 tomorrow (if you switch to the other torrent)
