Avast 5 (Updatet version) does not identify any virus in game folder, but find malware into the .iso file. Avast 5 does not identify that malware when install the game but it only identify the malware when extract the iso file. I'm thinkin that malware is harmless?

Having the same problem as some others...

I just installed the game into Program Files (vista user) and i can not find the install dir ANYWHERE. I am not new at this, and it was no mistake -- i have searched for JustCause2 and the only thing that came up was the mounted iso's crack from the crack folder. Its like it never even installed the game -- although my hard drive is still missing the space. I have tried everything and I have no clue what to do!

there is no need of a key don,t install from autorun Just run the file backup.exe it will ask for browse directory give it n install copy crack files n replace in just cause 2 folder!!
Run the game from just cause 2.exe no need to start with steam!!! steam is just for online play n but u must purchase the game from steam:-D

Works fine but uses steam files however you dont need to install it on steam also you dont need steam running either
mount the image with virtual drive (daemon , magic iso I used slysoft http://www.slysoft.com/en/virtual-clonedrive.html)

Install by opening the mounted iso (in the program file) and double clicking steambackup.exe as installer instead of autorun.exe. Let it run.

open crack folder in the mounted iso and put EVERYTHING in the installation folder and copy over.

In the mounted iso again go into the resource folder and install directx and vrcedist

and start it up!!! There will be an error saying you need steam running at first ( or at least for me) in order to play but you dont!

FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE LOADING SCREEN:

its very good game super action and different styles.
but the game runs in only windows vista or windows 7 not in xp2,3. other thing is game is also some time runs in original operating system. its need exactly 4gb ram and intel core 2 duo process is best.
after normal installation just copy the whole content from crack. some time runs in 2gb ram but game very slow. And must check operating system having any temp fies. if its game running slow having 3or 4gb ram you need to format your system then install try game must be fast. if u launch game icon it will some time to open the game. intel processor must be 2.5gHz

FOR THOSE PEOPLE WHO HAVE PROBLEM WITH THE LOADING SCREEN:

Don't use the skidrow crack....!!
Do everything as normal,
install it in any directory, it don't matter.
Using the crack given by reloaded will fix the loading screen problem.


According to me you don't need to download any external file to make the game run.
Just use the things provided in the iso.

It takes 20 to 30 seconds to start the game depending on your processor (I have Core 2 Duo),
for me it takes 20 seconds to run.

ATTENTION:
One more thing run the game as administrator to save the game,
or it won't save.

I uninstalled avg 9 on my windows 7 system to run steambackup.exe.(AVG blocks everything about a file when it detects something nasty in it)I hope the trojan found inside wont mess anything.
I have choosen c:steam as install folder.
I ve also copied skidrow cracked files(torrent name: Just.Cause.2.Proper-SKIDROW.Crack.Only.rar) instead of reloaded ones to "c:steam" & "c:steamjust cause 2"

If you have loading problem then I recommend you to reinstall the game and use the reloaded crack, it worked for me.

TO all the gaming freaks.....
1. This game doen't work in XP, XP SP2, or XP SP3, how much ever you try to run it.
2. With out directx 10 forget playin' it.
3. Never run autorun file, use steamfile.
4. If u have any loading problem, re-install the game.
5. If the crack in the folder doesnt work, download crack of SKIDROW n replace it after installin the game. (do not copy the crack in the img file).
6. What else...... ENJOY!!

I have a major issue, it's probably the PC's issue, but I have no idea how to pinpoint it!
The game launches fine... I can even run benchmarks, but when I hit new game.. the graphics literally freeze after loading.. the audio keeps going like 'youre in the game', but the visuals are static.. any help? this problem is for both skidrow and reloaded release..

To fix the error with steambackup.exe "You dont have the right permission to access this item" then just turn off your resident shield for your anti-virus (or just add the folder with steambackup.exe in exception list).

It booted right up after I did that.

confirmed "working" on win 7 64 bit pro.
I had to deactivate AVG to get it to work (that's kinda sketch), but then after that it's you basic install:

1 You have to run Steamservice.exe off the disk image or you'll be asked for a key.
1.5 Listen to bad techno the installer plays for you :(
2 Copy contents of crack folder into game directory. game directory isn't defaulted to your program files fyi.

I've run through the first mission and it's worked fine other then the audio is just a tad out of sync. whatevs.

I'll update when I've pla **** it more for a more thorough confirmed working.

tried to use steambackup and it gave me high level torjon in norton 360 so i disabel and use steambackup then it woks and later enabled the norton360 after installation, it did find the torjon again but it removed it and game is working fine

everyone will most likely have to find out how to make an exception for the mounted iso with whatever antivirus they're using.

If that still doesn't help, make sure you are running the correct "steambackup.exe". It has a little crown icon and has a file size of 258kb. (if you run the other one it doesn't work.)

It should then prompt you to chose an install directory (I picked program files(x??))
Crazy techno music will play and the game will install.

after install copy the crack into wherever you put the install directory and you should be golden.

If you're having trouble saving run the game as admin. I've heard that works but have not encountered the problem myself to find out.

well, my antivirus picked up a trojen when I scanned the .iso file. And after I mounted and installed it, my steam application had key files missing, I didn't feel like looking around my computer for other things that were **** ed up, so I just restored my system.

I think it picks up the steambackup.exe as malware. you may not have been running the right one (there are two). If you DID run the right one and then it told you a .dll file was missing make sure you copy the crack contents over and make sure your antivirus doesn't get ride of the .dll (mine does)

Besides that I've install on 5 different systems with no files missing errors. I hope you get it working, It's fun to fly around in a jet :)

You are probably running it with 1gb of RAM. Try Freeing up your RAM by using gamebooster,tune up or task manager etc...It worked for me

I'm not sure you need to run it through steam. after you have installed the game and applied the crack, open the exe from the just cause directory. you might be able to run it as a non steam game but it isn't necessary. you aren't going to be able to get achievements or w/e with steam because you pirated it, so it's not important. I think you should just forget about running it with steam as you don't need to.

yeah try that. make sure you run the correct steambackup.exe (the one not with the steam logo) if you get an error, make sure to post what the error message is

Atlast I have been able to run the game. Like others, I also have been experiencing an "appcrash". Then, i remembered that the game needed dx10. Its in the dvd, after the game runs like a charm.

Though I was a little disappointed with the game, the cut scenes and voice are out of sync ! Delay in mouse sensitivity!! Only new thing is the grappling hook.

I've installed this on several of my friends computers and it seems the audio is out of sync on most but not all. the mouse lag is a bummer but im not sure if that's intended as there is a pretty solid auto aim system all the time. if you like (and can run) a beautiful game and to blow things up this is fine. don't expect and interesting story or character development lolz :P

Hmmm, I would say avoid this one and go the Skidrow copy, Im in the process of doing the same. I run win7 x64 and Im a bit of an IT buff, so no mold on this cracker :P. Had troubles with the install from the start. Run the steambackup.exe to install and copy the cracks to the chosen install dir. Seems simple enough, none of which is malicious I might add (scanned with Avast! and Eset SS4). After it finished I tried to run the main justcause2.exe with a desktop shortcut, and it hung then crashed. I had a look in my control panel to see that there was no Just Cause 2 entry in the add or remove programs list. So I trashed the install dir and tried again, getting the same result.

I figured out that you have to run the steamenglish.msi in the resources folder b4 you install the game. I dont kno if its a legit install of steam but it got it booting. Then the game itself. Good game but this release is nasty & buggy as f*ck. I experienced that no sound crap ppl were talkin about (no helicopter noise in startup FMV) and framerate was choppy as **** with it on full (probs memory leak in the main exe).
My setup is really good/more than capable (benchmarks crysis@excellent).
I've got Borderlands/Fallout 3/Modern Warfare 2/TR Underworld all running perfectly on full settings in 1080p. If my machine can't do it, something's wrong with the release/build (4gb ddr2 ram/core2 extreme/HD 7.1chan soundcard/nvidia GT220 1Gb 128bit GPU with 1.7Gb shared sys ram = GPU intensive gaming). This release sucks big time, its just a steam install that sum1 hasnt been able to put offline props. Just avoid and hope the skidrow copy works without a dummy steam client.

guys,listen to what i say carefully.there is a virus in steambackup.exe.to install the game completly and run it smoothly u need this file to be working fine,but if u have ur best antivirus on,it blocks this .exe file.this torrent works but u gotta turn ur antivirus off and allow ur pc to get raptured.rather download skidrow version of just cause2 and use his crack to get this working.simple.
