Does this file include the key or crack?

I'd say for all Microsoft O/S you download, the supplied keys will only get you past the install, they but won't get you past Genuine Advantage and MS Update. However, this is legit install of Windows XP Professional. I've used it on a new PC with 500GB since my install CD's are old (only support 132GB disk size) and I've re-used my legit Product Key. I would dis-agree that this torrent is bad or harmful .... it's not (check out PirateBay for user comments-all very positive).

Its easy to make XP service pack 2 as genuine pack...... but i thnk this post has some corrupted files which are not proceeding to do genuine.... i thnk its fake...

got Error Msg: CD "cannot be read by the computer".
But It's working fine and display the contents from Virtual Image Drive.
(Steps to create virtual drive from nero Burning Software)

INSTALL XP from VIRTUAL IMAGE Drive
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
1. rename "image.img" to "image.iso"
(if u've problem in renaming: Goto --> Tools menu --> Folder Options --> View -->
uncheck (remove tick mark) Hide file extensions for known file types)

2. Open NERO --> Tools --> Image Drive
3. put tick mark on Enable First Drive

4. Click First Drive Tab & select path of ur image file
5. click ok

6. This will create Virtual image drive and show the contents of image.
7. Install XP from Virtual Drive

Note: If u want TO REMOVE VIRTUAL DRIVE:
1) Goto Nero --> Tools --> Image Drive
2) Uncheck(remove tickmark) Enable drive

could someone please tell me how to d.load XP SP2 to my computer. I am finding all this very confusing. My XP is not genuine so am not sure how to go about it. I need the updated because the stupid Samsung KP-k3 mp3 player I bought wont install its software til I have the service pack. Most other mp3 players are just plug and play to media player.. right ??? guess I chose to buy the only one that is going to cause me problems.... !!!! HELP :)

to gap16: you get to keep your do **** ents when doing a reinstall of windows. Unless of course during the installation you choose to format the drive your do **** ents are on.

I tried burning the image to the disc but it was unreadable as said in some post earlier, what did the trick for me was mounting the image in Dtools and then copying it to a CD.
Burning software warned about disc being copyrighted, tho. I couldn't be bothered testing it step by step so what I did was turning all Emulation options in Dtools ON then started copying. It worked alright, I managed to boot a pc with the disc and install windows.

MS is very good at making things difficult on people who try to cheat them. They either deny you from getting updates or eventually create a patch that will give you more problems than it's worth.

how can i install this by using only a virtual drive? it always ask me to put a xp cd in my disc drive(drive C)... ?

So I download this, and then burn it as an Image using Nero?

I've used this along with my old key... works very well, except that for some reason F-Secure no longer worked. :S
Going to reformat and see what's going on.
You can find Product Keys for SP2 with no problem though.

I am getting the unreadable error and i burned this with Clone CD, i am using a laptop and for some reason when it goes to read the CD ((and it only does it to this cd not ANY other one)) it clicks and makes noises it shouldn't. I see the Virtual drive type but running Win ME i cant run services and haven't been able to find a program that will mount it. I am currently downloading the eth0s one and i hope that one will give me luck. If i somehow get it to work i will use my legal cd key and by pass all your guys' problems :P

You can burn and probably mount (I haven't tried to mount.). But I burned it on DVD and it starts normally like it should - I cant see any problems.

i burned this to a dvd to try and install on a new system, but the disc didnt boot. other discs work, is this thing bootable?

it works, i tested it in virtual pc using dvd clone as the cd emulator. i havent burnt it yet.
but its bootable and seemingly perfect. :) WGA passed with the key i used btw

it doesnt pass WGA, thats one of the first updates, and after you restart the update page is blank. i installed xp on a virtual partion so it was an easy delete.

This will work as long as you can burn cds. When its burned to a disc , retart your pc and press Del or whatever key will get you into your BIOS, find your boot priorities and change it so the CDROM drive is first then save and exit. Next time it reboots the windows disc will load up ready to be installed.

Seriously does not work. Have burned to DVD/CD, Tr **** launching from virtual drive, tr **** booting from cd (not bootable) tried upgrading from previous windows version. You get some error about missing file, waste of download.

Ok i figured out a way to do it. Use Daemon tools to run the img then use nero to copy the cd. Once the new cd is burned then it should boot!

I cant upgrade this from Windows XP home edition becase my basic language is finnish, how i can change
my computer basic language to english? I tried Start --> control panel --> language settings, changed all possible to american english but still my all settings are finnish...

i just looked here to see if OS's were on torrents, and i must say that's pretty freakin sweet. but seriously, i think it's best to buy the OS b/c then u don't have to go through the trouble of making a virtual disc drive or getting serial cracks or any of that crap. i download games and movies and music, but an OS? that's a little risky don't u think?

FAKE FAKE i burn this to a CD, but didn't work says that is corrupted data!

so when i try to run a windows update or when i reboot this version of XP as a Virtual Machine on my iMac it says the copy of XP is not valid.... any suggestions getting around that?

i recently bought a new system. its a core2quad 6600, intel DG33TL, Nvidia Geforce 8600 and lots of ram. i can install XP only without graphics card. when i install nvidia driver either it hangs or crashes what is wrong with the computer.

Ok i've been trying for months to get XP working aside my pre-installed Vista on this Dell Inspiron 531 computer. Nobody seems to give the right information here and i'm running out of patience; WHICH file exactly do i need Nero to use as the image file, since there are 3 image files in this download. and for some reason, doing this the easy way isnt working either: mounting the .ccd image in DEAMON tools then the install screen pops and and install it. Because when i do it that way the screen pops up as expected, but i CAN'T click on the install button. So please someone give me a detailed instruction on how to burn this to a cd which can boot on startup.
