Hey adamm here's advice. When you d/l it, d/l WinRAR : http://www.rarlab.com/download.htm
Then extract it into your C: or D: or whatever. When you've done it you should go to that folder when you extracted it and there is file named 'setup.bat'. Run that and it starts to rebuild the game to same folder. It says it takes 35 mins but with my avg computer it took about 45 mins. During that watch TV or something. Don't do things with computer cause it slows rebuilding. When the rebuilding is done you just run the game from your desktop. No need crack. Hope this will help :)

This is a great game, works fine!
Best thing to do is make sure ur comp can run it, update to latest directx, update ur video drivers and download the LATEST winrar 3.71.

YOU MUST EXTRACT THE FILE FIRST!

When u go to extract the file, extract it to a folder name OF YOUR CHOOSING (i.e /Call Of Duty 4), NOT the one winrar creates automatically. By doing this i didnt get any errors unzipping it that i got before. Then when u run the setup.bat file, go and make a cup of tea or something as it can take AT LEAST AN HOUR to do its rebuilding stuff. Dont worry if it seems like its not moving - it will!

to marchofflames63 - unzip it to a different folder than the one automatically generated by win rar, i.e /cod4 or /call of duty 4 or something.

don't unzip it to /Call.of.Duty.4.Modern.Warfare.Full-Rip.Skullptura.

I had the same problem before which this method sorted out, so give it a go

les_oreilles and nigel1 - try deleting the unzipped data and re-unzipping it

Look if it doesn't work then just delete the extracted files and re-extract it without any programs running and no programs running when rebulding! It worked for me!

i got it all working but when i click on the single player or multiplayer it says d3dz9_34.dll was not found. Re installing the application may fix the problem. And ive installed it like 5 times now and it still says it.

That game was great, I pla **** whole game in 8 hours nonstop.

Now I want to play MP but when I start game it whines about punkbuster. I always turn it on from options. Then, when I try to join game which ping is about 50, my connection times out. Two times I've passed that connection thing. First time it said my CD-key is already in use and second time my game just crashed, I saw error but not what that said. Plz help me with my MP problems.

ok linjo you download the thing your missing and you extract it with winrar and than you get the file lets say d3dz_43.dll you exrtacted and you copy and paste it into your installition directory. For most ppl it should be drive c/program files/activistion Or wherever you installed it and copy and paste and it should work fine

@Homerr: to be able to uninstall extract the "_n00bs don't touch" archive in the readme folder then copy "windows" and "program files" over the original folders in C: (windows partition). Next, go add/remove programs and you'll find call of duty there!! Good Luck m8!

1) make a folder where u want to extract the game
2) download winrar -- open the compressed file, and copy all the contents in the subfolder to (step 1)from #readme# to zone3
2.5) close all other running programs including anti virus!
3) run setup.bat
4) ok... this part ****
5) after about an hour it should all be done and there will be two new game icons on your desktop!

What Skull did here was repackage the .iwd files so that this RiP would get a nice 2.5GB size. But the game does not accept the repackaged files!

ok, i started windowsXP in safe mode, i put *skullptura.7z file in directory c:aaa, i used winrar 3.71. then rigt mouse click on *skullptura.7z file, chose extract to, then try to extract to c:gamescod4; but still i got a lot of errors while extracting.

Ok if you haven't finished this game stop reading.

When I play the last mission "No fighting in the war room" everything goes just fine until I get to the part where you have to either go to the left or right because the center is blocked. When you go to either side you find yourself with the missiles, after that you have to run to reach a door that your captain is going to close but before reaching that door some explosion (I think a bug) kills me.
I still have around 8 minutes left in the clock so I don't know what's happening and I'm wondering if some of you have had the same problem.
I finished this game in the xbox and nothing wrong happened there.

hi guys, i have a problem that a lot of guys have, so when i try to unzip the 7zip file with winrar 3.71, i get exactly like 5406 errors.
i have read about this error and everyone says u just have to give a different extracting path in winrar, but i already tried this like 10 times , and i still get those ****ing errors. I really don't know what to do...
ow btw,, i run on vista and i already pla **** this game on this computer, but it was a original copy and now it's uninstalled. So it's impossible that it's some issue of the hardware.

Attention for those users who has the problem - "The system cannot find the file specified" follow the below instructions,
Possible reason why skullptura's rip won't work:-
1.You have partitioned your hard disk by using partition software like partion magic etc.
2.You have simply deleted the skullptura's installed game folder without using uninstall registry.
3.Using of software like stardock,styler toolbar etc will also cause the extraction even it is not running in background.
4.Using up of registry utilities like registry cleaner,registry mechanic,registry defragmenter etc will also cause extraction of ripped data.

Before that you must check whether your firewall and anti virus is turned off.
1.Delete the extracted files and re-extract.
2.Go to start>run type "msconfig" and hit enter.
3.Click service tab and check "Hide all Microsoft process" like that... and then uncheck all in the lists.
4.go to startup tab uncheck all and click apply and then click ok,will ask for restart, just restart.
5.Run setup.bat
6.If again failed, then backup the rar file to any other external storage device or if local disk other than OS installed drive.
Re-install OS by formatting your main drive(system) without using quick format.And then try.
Note:-If you reinstalled OS, then firstly extract rip using latest WinRAR before you install Anti virus program.

Well, it was 5-10 kb/s for me in Malaysia.
It took quite a while about 3 weeks but i finally finished downloading it...
Erm, isit necessary to extract only with winrar 3.71 because that was a few years ago...
and maybe that winrar was the latest version for them?

Hey nice Rip Skullptura, single player working great.

Just the multiplayer, everything has gone fine right up to when i see the servers, I've tried the CD Key: ML2J-UWEG-M224-4TWY-BO6C

It says the CD Key is either bad or in use, and I'm not sure what to do now. The CD Key Generator that came with the Rip is working but all the Keys its giving me are all in use.

If anyone has any advice or a solution to the problem,I would be grateful.

Was downloading at around 20 - 50kb/s, I'm from Fiji had 43 seeds, and am now seding at around 10kb/s.

LynxV1, all my friends from Australia are havin the same problem and they never play online, they just play LAN. I haven't found any solution so farr but most of my friends are saying you'll need the original disk copy, but even the people with originals are having their keys stolen :L, not sure what to do now dude....

how to play MP???
It won't work...

MP DOESN'T work, it hardly does I think. I think some people are able to download another file and then get it to work after alot of moving and copying, but if you want MP that much, I say you should just go buy the game...
Otherwise the game works perfectly, I beat it in about nine(?) hours, definitely worth the download.

guys tell me real how can such a big game compressed into 2gb i am not a noob here so guys tell me real is it fake or is it real 60 says good quality and rest 30 says fake wats going on??

First of all, kudos to skullptura! Game successfully rebuilt but running MP, it crashes causing win7 to shut the program down. Can someone give me a step by step to be able to run MP offline lan?

Do I need an active internet connection?
The game rar included a punkbuster exe file,do I have to install punkbuster to run MP part of the game?

Hey guys, Ive always had no problems with all of skullptura's torrents but today if different for some reason. I downloaded it, extracted, and let it rebuild for a while and everything was going just fine. Now when I play the game, it lags real bad. I started from the beginning of the game and I went thru the first few little things to see if it was just the beginning of the game and it would fix itself but has not so far. Has anyone else had this problem. I have over 800gbs free on my computer so it's not a space issue. Please help

error is to update directX..plz do not download dll's and copy paste it it will make it more unstable

instead of fixing the issue....just search in google on downloading directX...its probably 95mb

just download it and install it ..that's it the problem is now fixed...

Ok so,I created a folder on desktop called Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare and then I extracted files from torrent to that folder.You have to run that setup.bat application.First it was ok for me but then I closed it.When I opened it again it said "the system cannot find the file specified".And then I deleted files from desktop folder and I extracted it again.I ran the setup.bat and it rebuild in 30 min.So it works now perfectly,cheers!
